The School of Practical Magic

The School of Practical Magic is a welcoming and inclusive spiritual learning community designed for those who wish to deepen their knowledge, strengthen their intuition, and explore the many paths of magical and spiritual practice.

Founded by Lisa of It's Practical Magic, the school has been proudly running for five consecutive years, providing students with a supportive environment where they can learn, grow, and connect with like-minded individuals. Enrollment is open to everyone, regardless of experience level. Whether you are just beginning your spiritual journey or looking to expand your existing practice, the School of Practical Magic offers guidance, education, and hands-on learning opportunities tailored to help you develop your confidence and abilities.

The school traditionally opens for registration once each year during the Samhain season, with enrollment announcements made publicly. Registration remains open for a limited time to ensure class sizes remain manageable, allowing for a more personalized experience and meaningful interaction between students and instructors.

Throughout the year, students can also participate in Witchy Workshops—special pop-up classes and events that focus on specific magical, spiritual, and educational topics. These workshops provide additional opportunities to learn new skills, explore different areas of practice, and continue your spiritual development between school sessions.

Topics explored within the School of Practical Magic may include witchcraft, spell work, tarot and rune reading, divination, scrying, energy work, chakra balancing, crystals, elemental magick, spirit work, creating and using magical tools, reading for others, and much more.

As with all teachings offered through It's Practical Magic, the School of Practical Magic is rooted in the principles of White Witchcraft, focusing on healing, protection, spiritual growth, ethical practice, and positive intention.

The school does not teach or support black magic, curses, hexes, harmful spell work, or practices intended to manipulate or harm others. The School of Practical Magic is more than a classroom—it's a community where curiosity is encouraged, wisdom is shared, and every student is empowered to discover their own unique path.
